i almost wish i’d never started watching grey’s anatomy because honestly a lot of moments on that show have torn me apart - izzie/denny, the izzie/george scene when the elevator opens, when meredith nearly drowned etc etc nearly every episode - but jesus christ that last episode was so heartbreakingly sad and i can’t believe the way it happened, that she just died so early in the episode. those two belonged together. fuck fictional characters.
